Module Ten | Celebration

 

Welcome to Module Ten.

After what we’re sure has been an action-packed and super-fun trading period, this is your students’ chance to sit down together and reflect on what just happened and what they can take from it going forward.

 

For you though, the big push is not quite over, as you both help students do this reflection, as well as co-ordinate and execute the mock employer interviews and your awesome celebration event! Congratulations!

 

Once the applause is over though, do take the time to recognise just what you’ve built with your class, and what powerful potential that gives you to drive greater learning throughout the year.

 

You now share a language and an understanding around 21C skills, and have used some important processes together like ideation, reflection, storytelling and development planning. You have created a growth mindset culture in your classroom, and built close relationships with employers in your area. You have engendered a sense of agency and a desire for authentic learning in your students, and they and you have seen that project-based learning can be exciting and very effective. It’s a powerful blend. Take it -  and go do some more awesome learning with your students!
